IMA Prix du Design 2026
PRIX DU DESIGN DE L’INSTITUT DU MONDE ARABE 2026 — 4th EDITION
Complementray exhibition: AlUla, designing from the land
09.09.26 / 20.09.26
Institut Du Monde Arabe_
Exhibition Scenography, Artistic Direction, and Graphic Design by GHAITH&JAD
In collaboration with illustrator and designer Ahmed Amer
Our scenography for the Prix du Design 2026 at @institutdumondearabe explores the mural as an intervention that animates and transforms the exhibition space.
Taking Le Corbusier’s intervention at Villa E 1027 as point of reference, we explored that relationship through a different lens. The mural becomes a connective layer between architecture and the exhibited objects, bringing space, object and image into one continuous spatial narrative.
In collaboration with designer @ahmedddamer, we developed a scenography that unfolds as a journey from abstract lines to stories of architecture, all drawn in one continuous gesture, creating a mural backdrop for the selected designers’ work.

PDIMA2026 partner’s exhibition: AlULA, DESIGNGING FROM THE LAND
« AlUla: Designing from the Land, » presented at the Prix du design de l’Institut du monde arabe 2026 @institutdumondearabe
Bringing together four remarkable initiatives, AlUla Design Residency, AlUla Design Award & AlUla Designathon, Madrasat Addeera, and Villa Hegra, the design unfolds within IMA’s iconic hypostyle space. Conceived as a continuous landscape weaving between the columns, our scenography keeps the displays low, allowing the objects to take center stage. Lables wrap around the pillars, seamlessly integrating the graphic language into the architecture.
