CONTINUUM ’26 is an exhibition celebrating the creative output of participants in the second edition of Diriyah Art Futures’ Emerging New Media Artists Programme. Running from 3 September to 7 November 2026 at Diriyah Art Futures, CONTINUUM ’26 is the second instalment in an annual exhibition series spotlighting innovative voices shaping the future of new media and digital art in the region and beyond.
Curated by Irini Papadimitriou, Director of Exhibitions at Diriyah Art Futures, the exhibition brings together 16 emerging artists from across the globe. The exhibition showcases major new works developed during DAF’s year-long Emerging New Media Artists Programme, with support from its Education, Production, and Exhibition departments and mentorship from acclaimed mentor-artists Louis-Philippe Demers and Rick Treweek.
The works span immersive and multimedia installations, light, sound, moving image, virtual reality, mixed reality, and AI-generated projects. CONTINUUM ’26 explores four key thematic pillars: Memory as a Living Process; Systems of Power and Optimisation; The Body, Perception, and Presence; and Repetition, Rhythm, and Collective Experience. Alongside the cohort, the exhibition features works by programme mentors Louis-Philippe Demers and Rick Treweek, exploring themes ranging from collective choreography to physical and virtual identities.
